I’ve been away from comics for nearly a dozen years now, picking up the odd graphic or collection here or there, so I’m way behind the events before and after this book. Looks like I have some catching up to do.

My three favourite X-Men are Kitty, Rogue and Gambit, so this storyline both broke my heart and thrilled me. And the flashback art was a lot of fun.

The only thing I wish is that they hadn’t stuck the wedding special in the back. I would have much preferred the continuity of story. A nice way to get back into the X-Men.

uhhh I mean I guess I've never felt that invested in the Kitty/Piotr relationship and it turns out, neither do Kitty and Piotr?

surprising no one I did enjoy the Rogue & Gambit wedding, don't @ me

Some classic feel, and not entirely predictable. Took an interesting turn that I suspected was possible, and it will be curious to see where some relationships go from here. I can't say I'm happy with the outcomes - but I think I'm unhappy with them in a good way. Touching moments.

Bit of a fake-out, but okay otherwise. Got a little boring and predictable.

Ooh, this was a hard one. On the one hand
Rogue and Gambit!
, but on the other hand
Kitty and Piotr :(
. Honestly, this feels like it should have been the last story of the run. It was a little strange when it went on to the next trade, but I can talk about that more there. This was a great culmination of everything we'd seen so far and honestly, didn't we all see it coming?

60/100.

No me ha disgustado el volumen, pero esto debería haber sido el evento del año, uno de esos volúmenes que quedaran para la posteridad, pero... no. Ha estado bien, sin más. Algo decepcionante.
