This would have been 5 stars if the ending was a bit more stretched out, it felt a little rushed, especially with Bee's ending, but otherwise, I really enjoyed all of the many plots connecting and all the characters interacting. I thought Fitz got a good ending but I wish nettle and bee developed a better relationship

This series drew me in immediately and I could not get enough of it. Brilliantly written, creative, epic high fantasy. I think I'm spoiled for any other fantasy for a while. 
I don't think I will ever stop thinking about this book in particular. It is a stunning conclusion to the Realm of the Elderlings series. Seeing characters from all of the preceding trilogies (and the chronicle) coming together in ways I couldn't have predicted was *chef's kiss*. The "end" of Fitz and Beloved's tale is bittersweet but perfectly fitting.
