Very quick read - good set up, wasn’t that satisfied by the reveal. Tense but in reality not much going on behind the plot itself.

I'm not big on mysteries but this was overall pretty solid.

Why are psychos ALWAYS the smartest people to exist in humanity? Seriously. I was utterly shocked by who the murderer was in the end. And the plot is crazy.

I don't even know how authors who write these books stay sane themselves.

But I must admit that the plot was dark. I can't say more than that without spoiling anything and this will be ruined if I spoil even the smallest bit of information.

It is definitely my first time reading an actual real mystery, so I'm not sure if all mysteries are twisted.

I’ve read/watch too many whodunnits to find this book shocking/a page turner (despite how quickly i read it). If this was one of the first whodunnits I ever read, I probably would have given it a higher rating.

Such a fun page-turner that I finished in an evening!! I did NOT see the ending coming and thought the payoff was excellent. I understand why this is such a seminal classic.
