Wtf was that 3rd act breakup? Fucking yikes. I should have been on Iris' side, but I definitely wasn't. I just wanted to shake her and tell her she's a moron. I hope I like book 3 the same amount I liked book 1 because book 2 was something to be desired.

Ok I changed my mind about Declan.. he completely earned my heart in this book

I love a good marriage of convenience, especially when it's the guy falling first- and harder..

Iris as a the FMC was amazing! I love her so much

- from the moment he said "every word/every kiss is just for show" I knew that wouldn't last long :)
- I loved that it took a while until they got serious with one another.. they kissed twice, yes, but there was banter, interest, connection before anything happened, and they were married already;
slowly the respect they had for each other developed into something more! It made sense, and I'm glad they build this connection before anything happened..
- YEY Rowan and Zahra <3
- also love how Zahra and Iris got closer in this book, my girls..
- loved Iris friendship with Cal, he seems like an amazing person, I wonder how he will be in his book! I'll definitely read it!
- Their conversations/their dynamic overall was amazing!
- the little detail about the safari, him running out the shower to show her the leopard.. aaah I melted!
- I also loved how Declan was the first one to open up, to admit his feelings to her..
- "I am falling in love with you, Iris Elizabeth Kane." Need I say more?
- spicy scenes? 10/10. Declan Lancelot Kane..
- the conflict at the end made sense, it hurt, but it made sense, but Declan redeemed himself.. especially with that proposal.. He really remembered what Iris said in the beginning!
- His father can suck ass ;) That didn't change.
- he got her a dog AND he proposed to her in the middle of a rainstorm in a Tom Ford suit- just like she made up in the beginning.. I loved every word of this
- he got her a greenhouse.. my HEART
- "These are my terms and conditions, take it or leave it because I'm not open to negotiations.."
I love when the title makes an appearance
AND SHE SAID YES- AGAIN
- She's pregnant with a baby girl aaah, Declan is such a girl dad..

About the Extended Epilogue
- their daughter Ilona omg I love that name!
- Iris is studying like she always wanted
- she's pregnant with twins, they are getting the family they always wanted..
- Ollie the dog aaaah!

Loved it. Period. 5 ⭐️

I’m sorry, but I’m so in love with Iris and Declan. This might be one of my favorite billionaire romances. I get so tired of the “I’m poor, he’s rich” vibe of this genre. The money was almost secondary! I also love stories that show black women being loved right!

Wow! Never thought I would love this series so much, but it’s easily becoming one of my favorites! The characters are so well written, and the struggles they have are so relatable. I found myself laughing at some parts while close to tears at others. It’s a book and series I feel like I’m gonna end up rereading often. If you’re looking for a romance that hits you in the feels in the best way, then I highly recommend putting this one on your tbr! 1000/5⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is truly the best one in the entire series hands down. I loved the writing and story overall. While I normally dislike a third act break up, the way Lauren Asher wrote this one I really did enjoy it. Declan is def in my top book boyfriends for the year! I’m truly stunned and highly suggest reading the extra epilogue!
