Tbh this book was super good, I love a billionaire falling in love story, but I won't lie with it being an arranged marriage of sorts it took me a minute, but I did finish the book in 3 days so that tells you I got over it quickly! This is the only book I have read from the series so rest assured you 100% can read it out of order!

I enjoyed this book so much more than the second! The characters were more likable, and the love story felt a little more realistic and romantic. The character growth was very nice, and I appreciate that the author incorporates diversity into her writing with diverse main characters. I look forward to the next one.

DECLAN LANCELOT KANE is a pain in my ass. Every chapter i read about him, whenever he showed up in his pov, i feel like im about to burn someone in a boiled astpahlt. Poor him, he is actually a romantic person with an asshole cover if he's not being super grumpy everytime he met someone like his father or whoever they are who always get under his skin. Iris Kane (well his wife) is a lovely woman, wise and very patient to him, after 3 years working for him and offering herself for being his wife (she was like : I VOLUNTEER! I VOLUNTEER AS A TRIBUTE!). i cant stand his anger issues, even though i like this book beacause it was better than the first book.
