Nice short story, lovely ending and a lesson learned about keeping some things in your past. Really enjoyed this read.

A quaint, cosy, quick read. The key message for me seems to be that sometimes we just need a bit of closure and a reminder that the past is best left in the past.

Enjoyable in a cutesy way but not really for me. Very light and easy to consume, but nothing too groundbreaking or exciting

This was a lovely story on friendship, love and realising what's best for you. Alot of detail packed into just 100 pages!

Book Review // The Little Dreams of Lara Cliffe by Milly Johnson // ⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a short and sweet book. This is a quick read from The Reading Agency and is the first quick read I have read.

Lara Cliffe is the last in her friendship group to get married and is feeling quite unsure about marriage. She and her friends decide to go to Amsterdam for her hen do but on the ferry she spots a past lover she has to decide whether to choose her head or her heart. This short story shows how Lara learns that she deserves better in love.

I enjoyed the different characters characteristics and backstories. It was a cute story of friendship and self love. I think I struggle with short stories as I feel they need more and I want them to be longer so I know how the story continues. I think the setting was so interesting and was a great concept for a book just wanted a bit more from it.
