I love books set in little towns and after reading this one, it showed how much I missed it!
Alrhough the story focuses more on Jess, Will's twin sister, I wanted so much more of Will's relationship with Gaby! I thought they were so cute together and I needed more of their bickering, I thought it was hilarious!
I did like Jess though! And after left her, I genuinely felt sorry for her. Especially qhwn I thought he left her for another woman with no explanation. Of course that wasn't the case, and there was a much darker reason behind it.
While I understand his feelings and why he had felt overwhelmed, I still think that was no reason for him to have left Jess and if he had really loved her, he would have trusted with it. If there is one thing that annoys me is when they don't communicate and one just assumes each others feelings without talking it out! So much pain can be avoided if people just TALKED!
Either way, I really enjoyed this book and Luca, the Italian, just reminded me of Davide from Love Island. (If You watch it, you know what I mean 😅)
