I am not going to lie. I had to drag myself through the last one hundred pages of Reboot. I heard such great things that when I saw it at the book store I picked it up and figured it would get around to reading it eventually. I had really high hopes for it too and I was disappointed.

I liked the idea of the book. It was really cool. But I just moved slow in my opinion. The book really didn't start until I was three quarters of the way in.

From reading my other reviews it is probably easy to see that I am a sucker for romance, but Reboot just made me roll my eyes and bite through it. Don't get my wrong, I found Wren and Callum really adorable but it was cheesy. I especially how it started that Wren didn't need anyone but in the end she was clearly depending on Callum.

The idea behind Reboot is what really had me getting through it. I wanted to know what was going to happen, though I didn't like the overall plot I liked the setting.

I will read on in the series, because I am curious on how it is going to end. But I am not going to go into Rebel with as high as hopes as I did for Reboot.

I found this book in my "darkness-never-dies" recs, and honestly I agree.

There is something powerfully dark about dead children coming back changed, and the abuse they suffer at the hands of the government.

There are all the elements of a dystopia - the dark female lead, the brave love interest, a forbidden love, action, angst - its got the whole shebang.

If you were a fan of Legend look no further. While not perhaps as incredible as Legend - really guys I recommend reading it, its great! - Tintera writes beautifully and her characters lovable (and angsty).

I love books where everything is not perfect and where the main character(s) aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. And if you do too then Reboot is perfect for you !

* I just rhymed, which means it's time for me to stop *

I really enjoyed this book! Reboot is a fun, fast paced, entertaining book that took a different spin on the whole zombie premise. The story was always moving as something was always happening so there was never a dull moment. It was action packed with things happening left and right. I found the plot very intriguing and I did not take me long to finish this book.

I also very much enjoyed Wren and Callum's interactions. Although I did think it happened a little too fast in my opinion I didn't really mind as their conversations and the romance was very enjoyable. Plus, again I didn't mind it since Callum is such a swoon worthy guy. I mean, attractive? Check. Charming and sweet? Check. Swoon worthy? Triple Check. He was such an easy going guy that I could definitely see why Wren fell for him and why she opened up because of him. The dialogue between the two at some points was so entertaining and I found myself smiling and laughing at some points.

Overall, this is a very fast-paced quick and fun read. I truly enjoyed it and can not wait for to get my hands on the sequel Rebel.

He had been willing to die because he refused to take a life. But me, I contemplated shooting everyone.

I remember this book surprisingly well, not like I read it yesterday, but that's what we have to make do with. The content itself is extremely appealing, but the cover is very nice and anyway it is about a dystopian world, who wouldn't get in?

Wren was a very sympathetic character to me; she was unfeeling, proud and infinitely stubborn, obedient, until we got to know her better, where her rebellious, caring and compassionate nature surfaced. It was a bit like a blazing fire surrounded by huge ice (I know it's a bit of a strange composition, but it doesn't matter). Callum was very cute, everything Wren didn't at first; he is kind-hearted, compassionate and understanding. I loved him with all my heart.

I don't fully remember the plot, but I do know that it was full of action that made it all so fast. There was an interesting worldbuilding, not entirely unique, but imaginative and creative. I don't know how it ended up, but if I guess correctly, there was a twist in it.

I was going to drop this but then I got interested in it and I finished it. I didn't like the concept of rebooting at first, but I guess I can get onboard with it. They're not intelligent zombies, they're something else. They're paler and colder but they don't stink and they bleed and heal. And I like that even if you're dead a long time it doesn't REALLY kill your emotions and there's other propaganda about it too and its not true. So there was potential for this to be a good thing and it just got totally screwed up, like always happens in real life. Awesome.

I think I like the romance too. I thought I didnt at first but eventually it really won me over.
