It's honestly just a hell of a lot of fun. The pacing is still break-neck, but the characters are wonderful and hilarious. You have to suspend some disbelief at the coincidences - all the different plots and people lining up so perfectly - but it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of a thing.

Jeff's possessiveness - and his paternalistic insistence that Kitty stay on the sidelines - does get on my nerves a bit. But not so much that it hurt the fun. Just enough that I'd like to give him a kick in the junk.

Primary quibble is this:
SpoilerKitty is established as a pretty brilliant character, putting the pieces together faster than anyone else. It's hard for me to believe she didn't realize what was happening with Jeff's sudden personality change... especially when the pieces were so obvious that I could easily see it. She's usually at least as fast as the reader, and often much faster.

More, please!

Awesome book. Loved it. I thought it started out a little slow, but once it picked up, it never stopped.

My thoughts:

This series continues to be utterly amusing. There is lots of stuff happening and there is lots of humour promised.

How to write a review of this strange book, that is the question. First let me start that Kitty is an amazing heroine, she can kick ass, she is funny and when it comes to men she can be somewhat clueless. It is also impossible not to like her. She is now the commander of the Airborne and fights uglies together with her man Jeff. Aww Jeff, he is devoted to her, totally crazy about her and knew he wanted her from day one. I do like when he becomes all jealous too. He is my kind of alien. Together this couple is great.

The rest of the crew, nothing bad to say about them. I love how she banters with them, I like Christopher's glares and they are just one fun bunch.

Action, yes all the time. There is a conspiracy, and evil people want to take down the aliens. Not to mention that she gets a crazy stalker after her. What can I say a lot of crazy in this book and it made me like it even more. Hot sizzling romance too. I did not forget about that.

Why is it funny? Well there is always humour even in the darkest of times. Just look at the cover and you get the feel of the book. Cos yes there will be alligators and space shuttles in it.

Conclusion:

I read the book really fast and still it took me longer than normal. It is a mystery. But anyway the book is just that good. I kept on reading, I smiled and went woot woot. This is a fun series that I would recommend to PNR, UF and sci-fi lovers.

The second book is the one that decides if I will continue with the series if it was murky after the first one. Happy to say this one was even better than [b:Touched by an Alien|7283762|Touched by an Alien (Katherine "Kitty" Katt, #1)|Gini Koch|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388505181l/7283762._SY75_.jpg|8498290]!

LIKES:
✔ The quirky narration that I loved
✔ Heroine has the crazy complex plans that always go wrong. Or is it worse when they work as she intended? Only her team knows. The one with the crocodiles was my favorites. And yes, crocodiles appear in the plot. They are not just cover decoration. :D
✔ Love triangles cleared up.
✔ A lot of non-stop action and fun.
✔ Love the relationship between Kitty and her male BFF Reader:
"Still love you best."
"I know, same here. Working on turning straight, I swear."
"Promises, promises."

DISLIKES:
✘ Not much depth, but it's like complaining how BigMac has no vitamins. If you wanted a healthy meal, what the hell are you looking for in McDonald's?

The second book in Katherine "Kitty" Katt series, definitely earned it a permanent spot in my TBR. At least until I devour them all. xD
Recommended if you are looking fluffy and fun sf/uf romance for these tough times.

4.5 Stars. I loved this book almost as much as the first one. Some thing put me off, like her denseness to see what right in front of her, in the first book it was endearing, not so much her. Also she was ever so slightly less kiss-ass as she was in the first book. And i felt as though Martini was a bit unappreciated. I mean she could at put up a fight against other 'suitors'. Loved it still.
