This was a lighthearted, easy read. There were some laugh out loud moments. She is a little further along than me on the aging journey so some of her experiences are ones I haven’t had yet. Nonetheless, she always has a hilarious perspective, making me laugh and smile during the whole read.

I did not finished this book. While mostly true, it was basically one gen X cliche after another and presented like a stream of memes.

Back to OG Notaro, a good light fluff read - although there were some dark moments like her injury. Appreciated her look at working in an office for the first time in a long time, and LOLed at the NExt Door.

Recommended to me by a friend this is the type of book I might pick up on my own but I probably wouldn't have quite yet with this particular one. I did laugh some but not a lot, mostly I'm chalking that up to not being in the right age frame. I will fully admit I said hard no to the chapter about her elderly dog. I've had enough trauma at the hands of memoirs and dying pets for three lifetimes without adding another.

Quirky

I saved this book to read for 5 minutes before I went to bed. It often made me laugh out loud and helped to de-stress from the day.
