I literally love everything about this world and Shiva and Teacher are so wholesome! The lore in this edition is a little confusing but I think it’s meant to be that way so we find out answers as we go. But that can’t take from the rating. I’d love to spend a day with Teacher and Shiva!

So many questions answered and unanswered! Loved everything, my heart is torn. The book itself is so beautiful. The hardcover is sturdy and the binding is tight. Anyway, seeing Shiva and Teacher "fight" is refreshing. Not that I enjoy watching a child and grown up fight, but it's realistic that they would argue sooner or later - with valid reason. SPOILER: Shiva is upset over losing her auntie and Teacher keeping secrets from her. Yes keeping such things from her was bad, yet he did it to protect her which is also valid. Shiva is a child and still has her child innocence in tact, she says that he should have told her and that there would have been a chance to save her auntie. Even if the chance was low or if there was none. Both aren't wrong, both aren't right. It's realistic.
