Super cute. The plot twist was nice. It would be nice to see more of their relationship after they got together IRL and how they would navigate that.

Characters- 9
The characters in this book are great. I enjoyed seeing Wren and his friends living their lives, and the journey they went on. I enjoyed Wren the most, as he felt the most developed. I also enjoyed Ryan and Leo.
Atmosphere-7
For some reason, the atmosphere in this book didn't hit. I felt like I was grasping what was being explained, but there was something I was missing. I kept being pulled out of the story, and I wish we saw more locations in the town.

This was my first from this author. The writing style fit for the story being told.
Plot-9
Usually, I like these kinds of stories where they talk online, but they also know each other in real life, so the plot was a hit for me. I enjoyed the no-date dance element. I thought it was fun, and a different take on a valentines dance.

I was interested in this book. From early on, I wanted to see where the story was going to go.

I could follow the logic in this story. I felt things were explained well, and that we could follow the character's feelings well.

It makes my heart so happy to see these amazing young adult books and knowing youth will have access to books to help them understand themselves, relationships and love. Relationships are complex and when you are going through puberty it's hard enough never mind feelings or emotions that you don't quite understand. Also growing up is awkward AF!!!
I am a person that thrives with lists so seeing lists in the book was so fun. I also love to see mixed media in books it adds to the story.
This was so well done, I plan to read the authors backlist next.
