What can I say, I adored this book. I was grinning from cover to cover. It was cute, had exceptional queer representation, and the character growth was on point.
I don't typically hand out 5-star ratings easily, especially for non-fantasy genres, but this is hands down one of the best books I've enjoyed reading this year.

This book was a lot of cringe and second-hand embarrassment, but in a good way. I found myself just questioning why Wren would put himself in the situations he does. I did have to put the book down more than a few times because the second-hand embarrassment was so bad(it's something I struggle with). It presents a boy who spends the entirety of th story fixing issues he's created for himself. The enemy to lovers' plot is handled in a predictable matter, especially when adding the Buddy app part. However, not all books need to be all deep and revolutionary. In it's a lgbtq+ enemy to lovers rom-com book of sorts. It what you want it to be. Lastly, I liked how the lgbtq+ representation was handled.
1. I love to see more ace and aro rep when I can because it's rare and few ro come by.
2. It didn't make their identity, gender or sexuality their whole personality. While I think having a book that explores a character figuring out/understanding this is needed, there’s more to lgbtq+ people. Having a book that has lgbtq+ people without it being the focus of who they are is a breath of fresh air.
