There was a lot of different people in the book but also felt like Elon did a good job of making sure we knew who was who and their personalities. At some point this book felt repetitive

I enjoyed my first book by this author. Very much makes me want to visit Nantucket one day and would be a great beach read for someone who doesn’t want anything crazy but instead just desires a good time with low stakes.

Back to Nantucket we go because nothing says summer like Elin Hilderbrand! I really enjoyed this book. First of all, LOVE the Five Star Weekend idea, having a girls weekend with a different friend from different eras of your life. The drama was so petty and hilarious at times, especially between Dru-Ann and Tatum. I loved how each of these women discovered things about themselves and each other during their time together. I also always enjoy how Nantucket itself (or at least the people on it) seem to be its own character with its own lens and POV in her books. I think this book is perfect for fans of complicated friendship dynamics and easy breezy summer reads!
PS There is animal death, but nothing bad happens to the dog!
