book club July read! this was a light  summery read and a good palette cleanser and my first Elin Hilderbrand book! overall I enjoyed the story and how easy it was to read. Some things bothered me, like all the diet/weight talk and the quickly wrapped up ending. Overall this book just felt like I wasn’t the right demographic for it and I probably wouldn’t seek out any more of her books.

I’ve never read an Elin Hilderbrand before, but I had heard this book was going to be a movie, and a girls’ summer weekend sounded up my alley. It was a fun read, but also reflective for anyone in that age range where you look back at your mistakes, life, and the people you keep around you.
