I’ve never read an Elin Hilderbrand before, but I had heard this book was going to be a movie, and a girls’ summer weekend sounded up my alley. It was a fun read, but also reflective for anyone in that age range where you look back at your mistakes, life, and the people you keep around you.

This book was extremely descriptive throughout. I really liked the beginning and getting so much detail about each character until I realized the whole book was wrote that way. I liked the food descriptions. Not much happened in this book. I wish there was more plot and everything meshed together more in the end.
