This feels like a really good summer read, the cover is stunning and gives off the perfect vibes for the book. The narrator was amazing, his voice was perfect and he really brought the characters to life.
As someone who isn’t a fan of love triangles (mostly because they are just two people pining after one person and not an actual triangle) this was a nice touch to it. Harry meeting someone new and clearly having good chemistry with from the start. It was healthy and cute. Then there was Harry’s ex who, well, was less of a favorite of mine.
Overall this was a cute summer read and I really enjoyed how everything turned out in the end.

Started off a little slow, but picked up and got very sweet and pretty captivating. Just great to read a queer rom com with NO homophobia at all.

This was a pretty adorable summer rom-com, and is a perfect beach read. It has all the summer vibes that you could want. If you want something that isn't going to surprise you and follows a general romance formula, this one is also for you!
I was entertained while reading this, the only thing that threw me off a bit was the screenplay chapters. While I loved the general concept, they were a little difficult to follow in audiobook format. That being said, the narrator for the audiobook was great and I would definitely listen to something by them again!

So when I picked this up, I was looking for a fun summer romance with some Mamma Mia vibes! It was mostly pretty light on the Mamma Mia vibes, but the summer romance was definitely heavy. I guess it would be technically a love triangle, but I think it's pretty clear early on who is the better of the two options for the MC, so it was a love triangle I was fine with!
As for our lovely MC, Harry, I adored him. Though I think it would've been great to go deeper into him about certain things, I ultimately enjoyed him a lot. I also adored our love interests too. Grant and Logan are great love interests and offer different things. Though one of them definitely has my heart a teeny bit more than the other, I actually liked both characters and felt like it made sense why Harry would've liked them to begin with. My only issue is that I would've liked to have a couple more scenes of Harry and Logan alone doing something that connects them more deeply. I think the same could be said for Hailey, Harry's best friend who didn't really feel like his best friend for the majority of the novel to me. His friendship with his coworker Agnes felt more interesting to me and I would've liked to have seen more of that than the side story with Hailey and Justin.
Still, I really enjoyed this novel and liked seeing the growth Harry went through in one summer. He's a romcom lover who is so against the very idea of love at the beginning of this, but transforms into who he is by the end of it. Definitely would recommend this book if you love summer, sweet romances, soft cinnamon roll love interests, and romcoms. This book felt like pure summer, sunshine, and romance in a book and I am so pleased I read it!
