Every time I finish a book in this series, I am more amazed of the imagination and the creativity that Rick Riordan puts into them. I noticed that in this book, there´s an emotional factor that in the previous books was barely there. Again, the characters are great, and very relatable (in spite of being demi gods and monsters), the story is developing really well, and overall this series is amazing. I hope the fifth book is as good as this one. 5 stars.

Sigue siendo un sólido 5 estrellas, emocional, profundo, con un acercamiento al cuidado del medioambiente muy necesario para el público objetivo de este libro. Los amo a todos, hermoso libro.

I've been in a reading slump but I really want to finish my re-read of this series. I forgot so much of these books. I remembered liking but not loving this one and now I know why. The first half is really strange with back and forth and theyre in the maze and now theyre back and camp and now they have to go back into the maze again... However the last 80 pages or so really make up for the chaos of the beginning. I think this series really matures and changes at this point. It become more serous and dark. A lot of character die. Also the Percebeth slow burn getting more intense? Love that.
