I read the various "Miracles" as they came out and had planned to write a longer review after the story concluded. Except I never took any notes so how I'd been planning to do that review is a mystery. But the gist of it would have been that this was a really fun story. If you've read Sherwood's Tribulations of Ross Young: Supernat PA, then you will find this to be in a similar vein, just high fantasy instead of paranormal. If you haven't read it, then the title of the book should be a clue.

This is a hilarious read with a ridiculous protagonist. It's not to be taken seriously at all. Tan is really fun, and Devan is noble, charming and extremely likable. The romance is done well. The various adventures, the magic, and sprinkles of world-building are all great.

The only issue I had is that Tan, in the first two parts, came off as really pushy. Like, this-is-basically-sexual-harassment pushy. I know it was supposed to be funny and an example of Tan's excited-puppy personality. I even get that Tan would have backed off if Devan had seriously told him to. But I still found that it went too far and was uncomfortable. Just because Devan kinda resigned himself to it didn't make it okay. Things got a lot better in future parts though, and I really enjoyed the book overall. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

Felt uncomfortable with the way the characters were talking about the antagonist, calling her bitch and brat and stuff

While the story as a whole was enjoyable there were some aspects i wss not a fan of. The characters are ment to be older but especially Tan acted very juvenile and i couldn't stop picturing him as a lovesick teenagee. I know the book is ment to be light hearted due fo the set up of short follow-up stories but thestyle of writing is not auited for
writing swx scenes later on
. However i did enjoy the storyline and finished it.
