This was a lot more memorable of a story than the first in the series. I loved the focus on self-worth and figuring out what love really is compared to what the main character just thought was love based on what she was used to receiving. It's a cute, powerful romance, and the fantasy plot held my attention too. So excited for the Vampire Lord's story!

it wasn't the best nor was it the worst. I just have no feelings towards this book.

Another beautiful book from this wonderful author. Romance, magic, and just enough danger to hook the reader, A Dance with the Fae Prince is an absolute must read. I couldn't read this book fast enough. Being able to return to the married to magic world, but from another perspective was so exciting. Katria is a character reminiscent of Cinderella, but so much more. She's strong and resilient, using her knowledge as a human in a foreign world to help those around her, as well as taking control of a life she's never felt in charge of. The connection between her and Davien is pure magic as they navigate each other. Elise has created a world where magic and romance reign.
The writing is wonderful, the story well put together. Nothing felt rushed, and every loose end was tied. I loved the change in Davien, how he came to love Katria, how his want for the kings magic didn't outweigh that love. I could read this story over and over again and never grow tired of their story.
