Did I get this dollar tree book solely to make fun of it? Yes. Am I ashamed? No.

This book screams early era of Wattpad, and honestly gave a sense of nostalgia. At the same time, half the stories were quickly written, and obviously lacked rhyme and reason or any form of logic. That's why it's fun, but it's also why I can't rate it highly.

Would I read this again? No.

There is 34 short stories, but I only liked two of them... I didn't expect this book to be so ridiculous and unrealistic, maybe a little boring too...

I know Wattpad, I read a lot of fanfictions there years ago, so I am aware of the different style of writing. But this book in particular is too much for nothing, in my opinion. Not to be mean but, I don't recommend this "book" to anyone...

Znając twórczość Anny Todd i imaginy innych autorów pisane na Wattpadzie czekałam z niecierpliwością aż trafię na "Imagines" w mojej bibliotece (choć był i pomysł zakupu tej książki). Dodatkowo zachęciła mnie błyszcząca okładka, co zapowiadało magię lektury. Jednak zawiodłam się - czytanie szło mi opornie, sytuacje opisane w poszczególnych opowiadaniach nie były jak dla mnie wystarczająco interesujące. Przeczytałam setki imaginów na Wattpadzie i według mnie powinno się je czytać z lekkością i w szybkim tempie, co oznacza, że nie powinny być za długie, a niestety większość zawartych w tej książce liczyło wiele stron. Uważam, że autor powinien być uznany za zbiorowego tak jak jest naprawdę, a nie podczepiony pod Annę Todd, która napisała tylko dwie historie. Książkę poleciłabym na nudę, jednak bez oczekiwań na wielkie zaskoczenie - za to zapraszam na Wattpada gdzie odnajdziemy opowiadania dopasowane do naszych gustów (zapewniam, że całkiem inna sprawa niż czytanie ebooków). :)

I am not quite sure why people would want to read this (except maybe to get a laugh or two out of these stories and then weep about the inevitable downfall of humanity) but I suposse that's a thing that exists.
Yep, it exists and it is a big nope.

Fun fact:: The German version actually has 128 pages more.

Eine bunte Sammlung von Fanfictions. Etwa 50% ist ganz gut. Wer sich dieses potthässliche Buch nicht kauft, hat definitiv nichts verpasst. Ich hab mehr als zwei Jahre gebraucht um dieses Buch durch zu bekommen. Ich kann nur sagen, endlich ist es vorbei.
Für die Unterhaltung hier die individuellen Bewertungen für die einzelnen Geschichten. Ich hatte doch ein wenig Spaß :D

Abstruse Geschichte mit einer Prise Sexismus 2/5
Wirkt schon fast wie eine Parodie auf eine schlecht Fanfiction, ist aber vermutlich ernst gemeint 1/5

I'm in this book so grain of salt or whatever but listen: 5 stars alone for Kat's story about Nick Bateman, "Knockout", which is one the most weird, interesting, and original short stories I've ever read, period, let alone in RPF. I had no clue who Nick Bateman was before reading this and it did not matter. I say this to anyone who will listen but remember the name Katarina Tonks, she is one of the most amazing writers anywhere right now.

Other favorites include Anna's story about being trapped in a Target bathroom with Kylie, Scarlett's story about doing it with Jamie Dornan, Kassandra's story about going to prom with Michael Clifford, and the story about President Kanye West. There is literally no way you could read this book and not finding something to love.
