2018 re read

I still really enjoyed this story but I felt it dragged a bit and I was easily distracted.

Predecible.

Breathe with Me.... such a simple phrase, but it was one that kept Meredith going while apart from her high school boyfriend, Mark.

Mark was first introduced in Come Away with Me (he's Luke's younger brother). Since then, he's been somewhat of an enigma; he's charming and loves to flirt with the women, but is not looking for anything long-term. We realize why in this book. He and Meredith dated for about two years before they graduated from high school and were supposed to leave for New York so that Mer could pursue her dream of dancing. A few days before the leave, she ends things with Mark, worried that he will be a distraction that she can't afford. Ten years later, she returns to Seattle to take care of her sick mom, and after her death, she and Mark reunite. These two seem so fated for each other! I loved them both so much!

In typical Kristen Proby fashion, we were able to catch up with all the couples in this series. I love how they all get along (especially when alcohol is involved!!)!

I definitely recommend!

**Update** I have also listened to the audio of Breathe With Me, and it is phenomenal! Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer did a wonderful job of portraying Meredith and Mark!

This is one of my most favorite series ever and while I should be upset that it's about to end, I'm ecstatic because as each book progresses, we see more and more of the gang and this time was PRICELESS in terms of that. I was in tears...TEARS! What two people created in a cab on the way to pick up a piece of paper (I'm SO trying not to spoil anything here!) is unreal, so sweet.

Mark and Meredith...M and M were captivating and fun. I laughed so much with them, they are that hot, crazy, fun couple that has a lifelong bond and it was awesome reuniting with them.

Proby has sealed it with this series. I would try to compare it to another solid set of characters, the romance, the wooing, the laughter, the fun, the steamy hawt parts...but I've got the 'nesia!

I love second chance romances so I was super excited to read Mark and Meredith's story. Kristen did not disappoint! This story was perfect to me. I loved that we got a glimpse of their past and it was fully dealt with by the main characters. I loved Matt so much and thought Meredith was perfect for him. This series just keeps getting better.

Why?? Just why?! Every book I'm excited about in this series always ends up being a let down. First it was Caleb then Matt and now Mark. Mark was the one that I was super excited!! He was always gone and when he came home the girls said he was hotter than Luke so yeah I was excited to read his story but gaaah disappointed. I gave 4 stars just because I love their families.

Meredith wasn't what I was expecting. I liked her but at the same time I didn't. The girl suffered like hell when she was younger and the book begins with her losing more people jesus. When she was remembering what happened I cried a little bit because if it was me that would be my reaction. I understand her but sometimes she was so stupid with her reactions and all...

I was always curious about Mark when I learned what happened between these two I thought they were going start has friends and built a relationship slowly but nop. They jumped right into a relationship and that shocked me because Mer made Mark suffer so freaking much and suddenly he forgets about it...Besides this I love Mark and I loved the epilogue!! It was so sweet!

Oh my Mer's best friend JAX!!! I absolutely looove him!!! He's so damn funny eheh Him and Logan are so adorable *-*

And now I'm afraid of the last book...really afraid. I hope I don't get disappointed. I can't wait to know more about Alecia!! In the other books the girls say she's amazing but we never see much of her so I'm curious...
