Something I read during school and I don't think I fully appreciated it back then. Of I would have I would have started reading seriously much sooner. :P

I was highly disappointed in this short story. A lot of hype for it and it fell super flat.

I'm on a short story binge atm. This was a chillingly atmospheric Gothic tale.

Anyone else remember that Treehouse of Horror episode where Homer gets given the paw and Lisa wishes for world peace?
It was great to finally get round to reading the original story anyway!

An excellent short story although I would've loved a novel with this tone. There is much to explore with this idea.
