It's the year of the Lady Knights!
While Lady's Knight may not have been my most anticipated of releases following this theme, it still proved to be a delightful read that teenage me would've no doubt loved and been obsessed with. Adult me may not feel as strongly towards it, but I was still charmed by the story and characters nonetheless.
The prose is whimsical and cheesy, in a very tongue-in-cheek way, and while it was ultimately a very low-stakes tale there were still some emotional moments.
I think that reading the physical copy would've made it a little more enjoyable, as the voice the narrator chose to give Isobelle didn't do her justice.
