I absolutely loved this duet and the characters. The balance of Brooklyn and her boys is amazing and so unpredictable. I couldn’t put this book down.

From a menage to a RH and it was amazing.
I loved the addition of Jack to their group and he just fit so perfectly, he may have even been my favourite out of all the guys. This duet was definitely a slow, slow burn but it wasn't missed.
Again I felt frustrated with Niall because I didn't feel like he was changing his mind on giving in to his feelings and then at roughly 50% he sort of flipped the switch with everything and the harem was created. So yes the harem itself was really slow going but the action and the lead up to this point was really fun to read. And omfg where some of those epilogues HILARIOUS.
Great way to end things.

Brooklyn and her guys are back! If you love and are looking for a Harley Quinn/Joker type romance this is it!! Brooklyn has zero filter. Her thoughts are random and make no sense but do at the same time. She's hilarious and despite her hard life, she still has a heart of gold. Just don't cross her because she has a list on her "death rock" with plenty of space for more. Niall is equally hilarious, random and completely unpredictable. Then there's Mateo and Angry Jack. All 3 of these men are deadly, ruthless, merciless and at Brooklyn's disposal. They fiercely protect her. This book has all the "touch her and you die" vibes. Tough and protective alpha males with a woman who isn't afraid of anything. I loved Brooklyn's view on life and why she's not afraid to be herself, no matter how weird or crazy people think she is. She is her most true and authentic self. Totally admirable and something we all need to remember sometimes- who cares what people think.
And if you're a Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti fan, there are Easter eggs from other books throughout this book! Plenty of steam, laughs, action and suspense! You need this one!

Favorite quote/ending quote: “….. holding his gaze while I was pegged by the love of my life as she took the cock of the violent criminal we’d set loose on the world. And if that wasn’t a happily ever after, then I didn’t know what the fuck else one might look like.”

I’m not quite sure what I just read except that it was absolutely ridiculous in the best ways.
