This book is incredibly informative but easy to digest. Excellent to keep on hand as a reference. Loved it enough to also purchase the digital copy so I could always have it on hand. Would not hesitate to recommend.

This little and prettily designed book revealed itself as a huge surprise. Candle magick is a witchcraft staple which I frequently use but I didn't know that there is so much one can know about this topic. The author offers various tecniques to dress, anoint, carve and even make candles. She also provides a guide on fire safety and numerous hacks to fix unruly candles or spells that look like they might go wrong. Please note that this is not a spell book but rather a guide to how candles can be used in spells and contain. The spells you chose to cast can be as simple as burning a candle of a specific colour to a week long process where numerous candles and sigils drawn with herbs are involved. I find this book very inspiring and it definitely helps you to make your magickal practice more interesting.

Honestly I found this book a little too basic and boring. I thought it would dive more into the history and significance of candle magic as well as provide some insights that aren't gleaned from typical witchcraft books. Mostly felt like retreading ground others have covered.
Happy to have it as a reference, but didn't love most of the content overall.

This book covers all aspects of what you would need to create your own rituals revolving around candles. It goes in depth into symbolism associated with color, shape, and type of candles. It also has instructions on how to create your own rituals ans spells.

I found this to be an interesting read. I am very new to "candle magic" and I found it very easy to read, and full of detailed information. It's also a beautiful book to flip through. Which is always a bonus!
