A really interesting nugget of military history and a study into the psychology of innovation/intention/our dogmas and what we make of them. Not something I would usually pick up, and not something that typically piques my interest—so that’s  impressive! Gladwell’s audiobook structure, which is essentially just long form podcast, is really well done and enjoyable. Some part of it still felt narratively half baked—maybe just that it doesn’t fall within the norms of what I’d call a book lol, and that makes it hard to judge as a book.

Solid Malcolm Gladwell/Pushkin content. Glad I listened! Informative, and the right amount of emotional as well.

It's a great audiobook, very much a long-form podcast with outstanding production values. Like many of his books (and podcast episodes), his storytelling is probably stronger than his ultimate conclusion, but I enjoyed the ride.
