Political satire is certainly an interesting genre. A modest proposal is a classic, not much to say about it, however i quite enjoyed the part where Swift also talked about the English vs the Irish Anus.

Reading this in class was wonderful, just people reading at different speeds until *le* GASPS go throughout the room at various moments.

I was inspired to read this essay after hearing that Hozier's Eat Your Young was apparently inspired by it. And what can I say, except for: Wow. Amazingly written, easy to read and still extremely relevant today. Might have to make my classmates hate me by telling my English teacher to include this in her lesson plan. A very short, FREE must read.
Already reread it once since reading it for the first time 2 months ago.
