OMG! This is probably my favourite Cassandra Clare book!! I don't know why, maybe of the fact that it didn't disappoint me? I found myself holding my breath all the way as I ploughed through the book, as the summary says,"...especially when one of them betrays blah blah blah (ok I forgot it)" I was thinking who will be the one to betray Tessa, well certainly not beautiful, nice Jem so I thought Will? What can he possibly do? He doesn't seem to be a spy for Mortmain, so well as I got through the end I was quite relieved. Another reason was Tessa didn't break Master Jem's heart. Well yea how could she? I was fearing that she might choose the wrong boy anyways a girl with half a brain will still choose Jem, so kind and funny and well vulnerable... Another thing...um this is quite important... and it is addressed to Ms Clare: Don't let Jem die! Please! If he dies I might as well um I dunno so it's just DONT KILL JEM! Another thing I quite enjoyed was the Chinese. As I am a Chinese myself, it seems that there is some kind of well connection?? between me and the character. It seems some special priority to me (and the other Chinese reader as well)as the non Chinese reader don't understand the language and it's like, I know several special lines and they dont. :D Hehe
