There ceases to be a dull moment in this thrilling sequel to Clockwork Angel! There’s action on the battlefield, dark secrets finally revealed, shocking betrayals, and all with the fate of the Institute at stake! And there seems to be a new or ongoing romance hiding around every corner of this dark Victorian underworld. I had trouble deciding which handsome, heroic man to fall for myself, and it seems the characters did as well... But who will Tessa choose? 5 stars! Bring on the next book!!

It was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone. They could be honest with me, and I with them. Reading your words, what you wrote, how you were lonely sometimes and afraid, but always brave.

I enjoyed this one a bit more than the first one, but that's mainly because the characters are growing on me haha. Great read, though. I don't have many thoughts, if I'm being honest. I just enjoyed this book throughout.
