An amazing read, I am still in conflict over what Tessa should do next but, I know that in the end I will love her anyway.

I honestly cannot believe how fast I flew through this book.
I had picked it up a month or two ago on audio but it dragged and I put it down. In order to continue with the series and staying true to publication order I picked it back up and boy was I glad I did. This book had everything I could want in a fantasy novel.
It was amazing to be back with these characters. I love them so much and am so attached to most of them, some of them get on my nerves! (yes Im looking at you Mr B. Lightwood lol) all jokes aside, this book was so beautiful and atmospheric, I can tell Cassie did a lot of research.
I do not usually enjoy historical fiction because of personal taste but I loved this book. The way it was done was very true to history and it ties in greatly with the Mortal Instrument series.
Will and Jem's triangle with Tessa is so well done in a way that if she chooses one I will want her to choose the other and vice versa. It will be hard to read the final book to see her end decision.
