i’m going to be honest i never felt what most fans felt for will. more specifically his relationship with tessa. i don’t know why i just…could never find the chemistry everyone was talking about? i usually like entp men but will just didn’t click for me. jem on the other hand, well i fell in love with him instantly. he’s such a beautiful character, he truly melts my heart every time his name is on my page. i don’t care what others say jem and tessa’s relationship will always be superior to me.

i’m not sure if i’ll read the third book. i’m pretty sure i know what’s gonna happen and i don’t know if i’m ready for my little heart to get broken lol. maybe someday but for now i know this book is my favorite out of the three <3

I was supposed to buddy read this book with the wonderful Zoe – from yerabooknerdzoe – but we’ve both had a very busy month (she actually got married this month) so I don’t think she’s gotten round to reading the book yet. I, however, adored it. When I first started reading the Mortal Instruments series, I didn’t think I was going to like it. So to end up so enthralled and enraptured by a Cassandra Clare book was a shock to me, but a pleasant one.
