Not gonna lie, I was getting a more and more disappointed with Natasha Madison’s books. It felt like her initially books following Zara and Evan, Zoe and Viktor etc, were much better written and had better flow of plot and character development, and the following books (in particular the previous 5), felt rushed and like the proper plot development wasn’t given, and like I was reading a bunch of the same book with continuously worse writing. But THIS one, WOW! The flow of the story was perfect, it gave callbacks to all the previous characters without feeling forced, and the mental health representation was amazing. For a hockey romance, this was really well done and I would happily read it again, not just a book I wanted to check off to keep up with the characters. And of course, the spice was 👌🏻👌🏻 But it actually felt well placed in the story and not so much like it was there for the sake of having smut
Moderate: Suicidal thoughts, Suicide attempt
Minor: Alcohol
Absolutely loved this book! I swear every new book Natasha puts out becomes my new favorite. Vivienne and Xavier become neighbors when she buys the boat next to his. Vivienne tries to be the nice friendly neighbor and gets shut down by Xavier’s grumpy and stand off-ish attitude.
The banter and sarcasm between these 2 had to be my favorite, I think ultimately it made their relationship stronger. Beatrice, is just about the best furry companion someone could ask for. Xavier’s conversations with her as if she were human , we’re the best. The love, respect and support this couple has for each other , is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a book before. The way Natasha handled the mental health storyline in this book has me shouting “Bravo!” Thank you for writing such beautiful words about a not talked about enough subject. Vivienne and Xavier could not have been a better match for each other. This book warmed my heart so much ❤️
Honorable mention to M&M and the rest of the Grant/Stone/Horton clan. This family is something else. How accepting , caring and loving they are to everyone that comes into their lives

Xavier and Vivienne
Xavier used to play hockey for a team in Long Island but when his mental health started going down the drain, he had no one to help him through it so he walked away from hockey and bought a boat. Vivienne is a closet author who has published upwards of 40 best selling books. After she takes a trip with her friends on a boat, she decides she wants one because of how it made her feel and with her job, it’s perfect. Her and Xavier end up being boat neighbors and he isn’t the nicest, but his dog loves her instantly. He’s never told anyone why he left hockey and she’s never told anyone what she actually does for her job. They both end up telling the other with no judgement.

I absolutely loved this book! Natasha knocked it out of the park with this one! I felt so many emotions while reading this it took me on such a rollercoaster ride. During every emotional scene you could feel the characters joy, pain, love, and every other emotion they had just by reading. All the different surprises throughout the story made it even harder to put the book down!

The Grant/Stone family are back, and this time Vivienne Grant takes centre stage. When she decides to buy a boat and live on it for the summer much to the dismay of her father Matthew.
As Vivienne hasn't the first clue how to crew a boat. Even though she's got a license. But that's not going to stop her and neither is her new next door neighbour grumpy sexy Xavier.
Who's quiet life with his adorable dog Beatrice is about to be upended.
But Xavier has a secret.
As he used to be a hockey player until the game and press attention became too much. And with no support from his team or his fellow teammates Xaviers mental health deteriorated. So much so he tried to kill himself and after surviving he knew the only thing to do was to walk away from the game he once loved.
Yet, time spent with Vivienne and later her family helps Xavier see he still has a future in hockey.
And with real mental health issues highlighted, plenty of heat and family feels. Made For You, is a beautiful and emotional story. That I would happily recommend to others.

Made for You was so amazingly good. It takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute I was laughing the next I’m on the verge of tears.
Vivienne and Xavier are so fantastic together. They support each other and the pride they have for each other is so strong. When Vivienne moves into her boat next to Xavier he is a complete and utter grump to her. Thankfully Vivienne perseveres and kills him with kindness. Xavier ends up breaking down some of his walls and lets Vivienne in. They end up spending more and more time with each other growing closer and closer even spilling their secrets to each other. They help each other get through even more and lean on each other to get through it all.
I absolutely loved the fact that mental health was a huge part of this book. It was even more relatable having that called out and seeing how the character struggles to overcome it.
It was an easy 5 stars for me. The spice was great too and didn’t overshadow the plot at all.
