- It took me a while to get through this book, and I felt like it dragged. But at the same time I fell as though nothing was actually fully developed and this really needed to be two books. I legitimately thought I finished this book, and then it said Part Two.
- There was a main conflict in the romantic relationship, but you know what actually that’s not an issue.
- The “good guys” stand for the good of all. Until it’s inconvenient for them.
- Violet had a very weak body, yet she can do what everyone else does not problem.
Nothing is fully thought out, addressed, or explored. The characters are getting more annoying by the day. And the timelines make no sense.
This book needed more outlining, more re-structuring, and more editing. It’s frustrating because I think if it was worked on for longer with more care it could have been really good.

It's one thing after another! People are dropping like flies!
Really hard to put down.
Finally able to catch my breath at the halfway mark.
And somehow we manage to come back to a school setting, which I love.
Things are looking bleak. I'm in the final 2 hours of the audiobook. Anything can happen. Anyone might die. Ahhh
Holy cow that ending. Two cliff hangers in a row!! Amazing. Love it. Also, I need the next book.
Are reviews supposed to make sense? I can't make any sense at the moment.
