What a marathon audiobook! Great story and less annoying than Fourth Wing. I may re-read on paper in future as I probably missed a lot.

To quote my friend WE... "she better make it right in book 3..."

Well, this was the same fast paced, action packed, spicy fun, dragon riding adventure... And she gets you again with that last three chapters! This one was longer than the first so I am undecided on how I feel about that.

So, I am ready for book three whenever you are Rebecca!

I thought FOR SURE this would be five stars.

I literally didn’t even care to finish this book somehow. like the last ~70 pages I had to force myself to read

So many events. So random. Random amounts of detail that didn’t wind back to the story. I just feel like there were so many loose ends and then so many more loose ends were introduced and nothing was answered

I was so excited for this and just feel SO let down. Random event. Random sex scene. So many characters, so little pay off.

I really regret reading this right after fourth wing. I think a little time apart could have helped but still.

Let me also just say that some parts of this book were magic. But they were spread out and/or randomly inserted briefly.

I’m obviously going to read the next one but I already don’t even care.
