I loved the plot of this book, and really enjoyed the format and how it allowed the reader to look into the perspective of the everyday man trying to grapple with people of authority making life altering decisions on behalf of society. 
The use of the English language was so incredibly impressive, and the opportunity for consideration of the importance of communication and language to our wellbeing, survival and relationships was so prevalent throughout.

The ending was, however, a bit of a miss for me, not entirely sure how the sentence came about whether it was Ella, Tom or through a computer? I was also somewhat confused about how the character of Tom came about and what purpose he served
