This book was such a cute and fun read!!! I loved both characters and seeing their shaky growth throughout the story was very enjoyable, and the art was absolutely fantastic, I loved all the scenes involving water and waves! My only complaint was that the characters in the story weren't terribly racially diverse (and the one main character that was (maybe??) Asian, it wasn't part of her personality in the slightest), but I still enjoyed it for what it was!
