Not as good as the werewolf books by the same author. I didn't particularly enjoy this book that much, and I'd happily admit to it being the last Kelley Armstrong book I ever read.
So different from its predecessors in the series, like a different series entirely. I didn't pull me in at all.

This is one of those books that I have had on my shelf for a while. I am glad that I finally picked it up and read it.
Fast paced, action packed and love where you don' expected!!!
I am sure it will not take me long to get through the series!!!

Reading and learning more about Paige, the witch, was something I looked forward to do. It was a fun read most of the time. I liked Lucas Cortez, the sorcerer, a lot. Didn't know what to make of him, was he a 'good' sorcerer or was he working for the bad guys? Lucas proved his worth which was wonderful for Paige since she needed a friend she could trust. Lucas became more of course. Savannah as any typical teenager behaved at times like a spoiled brat although at the end I didn't feel like wringing her neck. Paige's Coven were a bunch of conformists and cowards, very irritating!
At times I felt like some of the conflicts took too much time to be resolved so it made reading those parts a bit tedious but all in all, I was entertained and that's what mattered.

A witch should be able to trust her coven. Paige doesn't have the support of hers when she takes on custody of Savannah but she thinks she can earn it. She doesn't realise how deep her troubles run until it is too late and her whole world has crashed around her. She does however have Lucus on her side, even though witches do not trust sorcerers, he is very good at being in the right place when she needs him.
i actually wasn't sure if i'd like this book, but i loved! i didn't read the first 2 books so some things were confusing but otherwise it was great
This was better than I thought it would be. I started reading and realized it all came down to a dirty custody battle and lost a little interest. But I plugged along and pretty soon it wasn't too bad. Faint praise I know, But I think she raised the bar on the first three books and this one was a bit more emotional and honestly the lead in this one (Paige) was kind of week and naive which made it hard to like. Here's hoping the next one is better.
