“Apples Don't Fall" by Liane Moriarty had its good parts, but it didn't grab my attention enough to become a real page-turner. I did like some things about the book, but it didn't make me want to keep reading non-stop. Instead, I found myself reading a chapter here and there, rather than being totally absorbed in the story.

One thing that bothered me was the ending. It felt like it went on for too long, about five chapters more than necessary. This made me a bit frustrated because I wanted a shorter and more satisfying ending.

That being said, "Apples Don't Fall" does explore the complicated relationships and secrets within a family, which I found interesting. The Delaney family, with their own problems and mysteries, provided a fascinating backdrop for the story. However, the book didn't fully grab me and keep me interested the whole time.

In the end, while "Apples Don't Fall" had some good points, it didn't quite meet my expectations. It's an okay read for those who like stories about family dynamics, but be prepared for a slower pace and a longer ending.

Found the last half hard to get through, but enjoyed this book nonetheless

Could’ve read it all in one sitting if I didn’t have other responsibilities. Story went back and forth in time/with narrators with clarity, which is really nice. I loved reading the random outsider chapters. The ending was a bit meh. Overall, a realistic and wonderful story of family and marriage.

Enjoyable read. A little anti climax tic

I didn’t pay to read this book but I still want my money back. Bad story line, character development and ending.

Liane Moriarty is one of my favorite authors. This one wasn’t my favorite book of hers. It dragged in places for me.
Joy and Stan ran a tennis school. Their 4 children, all grown in the book, also played tennis. One night Savannah shows up at Joy & Stans doorsteps and they let her move in with them. (A bit odd to me in this day and age.)
Joy ends up missing and it takes a while for the family to go to the police to report her missing.
The ending didn’t sit well with me as it seem to come from left field and a way to quickly end the book.
