Fun quirky and adorable in a nice mix.
Loved Sadie and Des, but loved all the hilarious secondary characters even more! Fontaine, Aunt Dody, Kyle, Jasper and especially Paige and Jordan, you're all welcome to come stay with me for a while... Just a day in your company way way too short. Just make sure to leve the bimbo, Dick and stick-up-her-a..-mother behind!

I wish I could give this 6 stars. The author has a way with words that is absolutely hilarious. I cannot count the number of times I burst out laughing. I loved that it takes place in Michigan--mostly because I'm homesick. I loved that the love interest was Scottish. Other things I loved: the crazy aunt, the Fabulous cousin, the disastrous dates, the bitchy cat, etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Sadie, recovering divorcee, and Des and their romance. This was a funny, laugh out loud, romantic comedy. I loved that it was set in Michigan, being that I was born and raised there. The characters felt more vivid and I felt more in touch with them. Overall a fun, hilarious, sexy romantic comedy that is perfect for a summer read. I can't wait to check out the next two Bell Harbor books this summer.

Good read very intriguing, funny and relatable, I kinda wish there was a sequel to this book. I would read again

Cute beach read

This was a cute, simple, and somewhat predictable read. I used audible version for most of it - the reader's voice of the different characters was sometimes annoying.

Semi-predictable

Although the book was semi-predictable, divorces woman meets hot neighbor for a summer fling, there was enough meat to keep me interested in finishing the book.

This one started out really strong but pooped out a bit. I LOVED the characters and the fun, quick style of writing. The obstacles that got between the lead characters getting together because silly and tedious. For that reason I'm giving it 3 stars. I will likely give this author another try. The writing really was an otherwise good time.
