This book is extremely disturbing and very powerful.  It's an amazing account of childhood with a narcissistic and depressive and difficult mother.
At first you don't know what's going on and it's all very confusing and then it all starts to come together and it's just such an amazing piece of work.  The linocuts, which at first I essentially ignored, suddenly leap off the page.
I had to reread it instantaneously upon finishing reading it the first time.

Some striking linocuts and liked the approach to speech bubbles. A few stand out scenes and colouring, but generally not for me.

Great art and story but felt unfinished and left me wanting more. Why do they publish stuff like this?!? Frustrating to readers, especially with such a deep and painful story.
