Another 5⭐️! I can’t say enough great things about this book and the series! If you think this is going to be similar to Kao and Fallon's story because of the trope, fret not, because it's not similar at all! I don't know how Michelle does it, but she's amazing!
Christopher and Dash have been friends since they were born. They couldn't imagine not being in each other's lives. So they've made a pact. But when Dash is determined to have a baby on her own, he knows it's time to cash in on that pact even though they're still five years away from the dateline.
I love everything about Dash and Christopher. No one is like them! I love how Christopher is so patient to wait for her and then when the time comes, he works really hard for their relationship. Their relationship was so smooth sailing that I started thinking maybe there's no drama or twist in this one. You know, it's just going to be a romantic one. But nope! That twist happens when you least expect it. Anyway, not going to spoil it anymore. This comes with a high recommendation from me!

I’ve always seen her as mine, but being her friend is not enough anymore. I want all of her. I’m reaching the point of no return at the speed of light.

They say you learn the true meaning of life when you find that one person you’ll sacrifice heaven and earth for.

4.5 stars. THIS WAS SOS CUTE AHHHHHHH. I really really really liked Christopher and Dash together. They are so freaking adorable, my heart couldn't take it. I liked the fact that we see Christopher pinning for Dash before they get together. Typically, it's the girl who has a crush on her best friend before they become a couple. But Christopher was so patient and waited five years. Their agreement really made me excited. The fact that Dash got kidnapped and assaulted was heartbreaking. The way she went from a strong, independent woman to needing to be constantly cared for and caressed for is sad. However, I'm not sure if it was my cold heart or the way those four days were described, but I struggled with empathizing with her. I know she was tortured, not given food, being manipulated, and I knew I had to feel bad for her, but I just found myself constantly reminding myself that her trauma is valid. I just wasn't feeling it at that moment, I just found it hard. It could be a me problem, idk. My only complaint is how short the book was. I could've read a few hundred pages more about them tbh. I'm highly thinking of rereading this book, and if that's the case, then I'll bump it up to a five-star rating.

All the emotions!
This on had me smiling and giggling for darn near half the book. I really connected to the relationship of the MCs. Then bam... Fear, Anger, Heartache... I enjoyed this book it had a good balance. Not for safe readers it does have potential triggers.

Wow, what an emotional story. The aftermath of Dash's 2nd encounter with that ass was horrifying
