I am a fan of Miss Casey's works. Until Harry is one of my favorite books. And I am glad I found Ryder.

The story is back and forth on the time frame. With an Irish accent, some parts are really difficult to understand. And I am glad I continue reading. This is a very sweet story between Branna and Ryder. Their romance endures many lies and heartbreaks. And the end they got their happy ending.

The lenght of this book can be shorten. Focus more on the story development and less on Branna development only. It can be more interesting if I can get Ryder's POV.

Overall, I do enjoy this book very much.

I thought this book was fantastic. It wasn't perfect but I thought it was pretty stellar.

The previous books in this series have done nothing to hide the fact that Branna and Ryder have been having some issues for a while. Whenever characters have mentioned their relationship, they always seem cold towards each other or else quarrelling. This book finally provided them the opportunity to work through their problems.

Ryder has been disappearing at nights for about a year and half. In general, he's just been pulling away from Branna and refuses to talk about what is going on. It slowly starts to turn Branna into a shell of the woman she was, as Ryder changes and they lose their intimacy. Branna is and always will be in love with him, but it's come to a point where she's constantly depressed and is barely living any longer. When she finally gets up the nerve end things, Ryder all of the sudden acts like he cares. He says he'll reveal all his secrets if she just waits two days, but Branna, in a moment of strength, sticks to her guns and doesn't let the hundreds of times he's denied her get swept away by his passionate show of desperation. They turmoil between them leaves Branna feeling weaker and more distraught than ever, at a time when her family still has enemies lurking.

I believe I read this story at just the right time for my current reading mood. I couldn't get enough of this story. It was steamy, suspenseful, and heartfelt all in one brilliant package. I truly felt for the characters and felt immersed in their story. I might be still coming off the book hangover, but I feel comfortable saying that this might be L.A. Casey's best work. I really went through all the highs and lows with Branna as her story unfolded.

As another accolade for the author, this book had flashbacks strewn throughout the story, and I didn't hate them. In fact, I really enjoyed them. They were well written, well placed and essential to the plot. Nine times out of ten, no 98 times out of 100, I despise flashbacks, and will typically skim or skip them altogether. In the romance genre, they aren't often necessary and make the story drag for me. Casey did a fantastic job with these rewound moments. When the first one was revealed, I'll admit to being extrememly skeptical, but it didn't take long to sway me away from that emotion.

This book has encouraged me to go reread the series and I'm eagerly anticipating what is to come next. I've been waiting a long time for Damien and Alannah to get their due.

5 'Sweetness' Stars

This book was perfect. I loved every single second of it.
I cried, my heart broke, I laughed and smiled throughout the whole book.
I have been dying to read about their story from the very beginning and L.A. Casey did not disappoint. I can't wait for more!!!

When I say I have re-read this book so many times, just because of the feelings it gives me, the heartache, the love, the truth that you have to keep working at a relationship because otherwise it will deteriorate, I would be lying if I said it was less than 10. Ryder and Branna's story is one which I adore, and one of my favourites of the series!

This was my favorite so far, it was not funny as the others but for me was the only one with proper character development (finally).
