This book is SO GOOD. The story is so fun, the characters are vibrant and unique, the world-building is amazing, the plot is snappy and action-packed; there’s nothing not to like about Nevermoor or Morrigan Crow.

If you have not entered the world of Nevermoor get yourself there...NOW.  Like now now.  Excuse me as I drive through red lights to get my hands on the next in the series.  So incredibly amazing and I mean that with ever Wonder fiber of my being.

This was a re-read and I can confidently say it was just as good as the first time. I’m sucker for the found family trope so I was absolutely loving this series.

I can see why some people consider this series to be the next Harry Potter, as I was impressed with some of the unexpected turns and the interesting characters. But I want more things to be happening and more excitement and wonder! I hope there will be more in the next book!

I have to admit that I read this book while on vacation, sipping mojitos in/by a pool but holy cow did I love it. Jessica Townsend seems to be doing things right so far with this series and I can't wait to see what she does next. The world she has created is so fun and exciting. She has a great way of writing to fill your imagination with all sorts of sights and colors and sounds.

There is something about this world. About this writing. Jessica Townsend is a genius. And the narration is superb. This is a series that will go far. I’m going to start the third in a couple of days, and I’m already excited for the 4th to come out later this year.
