I ADORED Burying Water so was very excited to read Ambers story in Chasing River.

Unfortunately, it took me a bit to get into this story. But once I did, I couldn’t put it down.
I just felt that the first half of the book did drag, and then the last half of the book is full of action and romance - which I then felt was rushed.

I highly enjoyed River. His humour and addictive personality, had me addicted to reading his chapters. I couldn’t relate to Amber much however, I did enjoy her character development from a proper sheriff good girl - to finding herself and realising who she is and wants to be.

I felt like this story wasn’t over and I would be keen to read a sequel involving these two characters again, as well as Alex and Jesse from Burying Water.

3.5 stars.

Wow. This series and me have this love-hate relationship going on and this time, there's no love at all.

I absolutely loved this book! Loved, loved, loved it!!! I could not put it down, and I was left with the biggest grin and the fullest heart.

I loved all the characters, and I completely fell for River! There's just something about a gorgeous, Irish guy, even if he's fictional! He's loyal to the death and would do anything for the people he loves, even if it caused himself trouble.

The storyline was fantastic! I loved learning about Ireland through Amber's research and River's stories. I really had no clue where this book was going; would it end in disaster, or a HEA? Would there be heartbreak along the way?

It didn't take me long to find out because I absolutely devoured this book!! I loved how Amber and River met, how their lives literally collided, and the friendship that resulted. These two were perfect for each other, even though their lives couldn't be further apart.

Chasing River gets a big 5 stars from me, as one of my favourite KA books to date!

I listened to this as an audiobook and was absolutely consumed by it. I always love K A Tucker’s books and always devour her writing and stories. I have to admit that the ending didn’t live up to what I wanted from the story, but never the less it was a very good listen.

This was a wonderful continuation of the series and it gripped me from start to finish.
This series is much darker than K A Tuckers other books. They also include very little smut.
I realised I couldn't compare them to her other books as you don't get the same things from them. This series is gripping, dark and dangerous. The love stories are complicated by criminal rings and dangerous situations.
They are incredibly well written, very well researched and I read each book within 12 hours so you can see that I love them.
I found with this book that I wanted a little more romance to back up the major decisions and relationship. It would have been mice to have just a few lighter moments.
I can't wait to see what Ivy's story in the next book brings!!

This book is definitely the BEST in the Burying Water series. I thought the action and story developed quicker than in the prior books and the main characters were likable even without knowing their backgrounds. K.A Tucker’s writing was smooth and I was completely engrossed in this romance. The Irish history sprinkled into the plot added richness to the plot and it made me want to take a vacation to Ireland. This book wasn’t as emotional for me as some of the author’s other books but I connected these characters and really liked this one almost as much as Ten Tiny Breaths.
