A curious read this one from David Coubrough. The cover is aesthetically pleasing and the book is excellently produced physically. The plot is enticing and it was generally quite an alluring read.
Where the book is slightly lacking is the sheer number of characters that enter the plot and make the narrative a little tricky to keep up with. The plot has certain potential and the references to secrets from the past are clever from the author, however I felt that the climax could have been amplified by a more coherent structure.
Nonetheless, a decent read and I think it is worthy of the acclaim that it has received.
