Some pretty good, some real duds. This collection swung between the two wildly at times, leaving me overall quite “meh” about the reading experience as a whole. Peter Watts once again delivers on amazing concepts and truly horrifying writing, however, since his contribution is an excerpt from Echopraxia, which I’d already read, I was kinda bummed. There were some other stories that were enjoyable to read, yet I doubt they’ll leave a strong lasting impression, but
if this subject/genre interests you, I recommend checking this out for the sheer novelty of it.
