I loved this installment in the series, there were a lot of character deaths and twists and turns. It was very emotional with everything happening on different planets. Everything seems like it's going wrong and people are going to die and then they get saved in the nick of time, and sometimes they don't. I can't get enough. My only drawback is that it seemed a little slow in the beginning.

The hype surrounding this book in the Red Rising saga lives up to the hype. The ebb and flow between the ups and downs really toyed with my mental health. At times it felt like certain things were predictable and others just come at you out of left field. I absolutely loved this book.
