I starting to learn that I am going to be on a rollercoaster of emotions when I am finished with a McLean book.
I never had a thought that they wouldn't be back together, but just be stronger. I mean he gave her the UNIVERSE. So Many feels. I think you guys know how much I LOVE Logan Matthews. He has my heart.

I swear, this series is so addicting and I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY!

Once again - LOGAN! I *swear word* love this guy, even though he can be a major asshole. The 'gang' is also so great. It makes me want to go to college and have friends there like Logan's. Love this series!
Emotional roller coaster. That is what this book was. It brought me high, it brought me low. Sometimes, it was like a train wreck, but I just couldn't look away. It was quite a journey I went on with Logan and Amanda. A three year journey filled with hurt, pain, self discovery, healing, love, joy, and all sorts of tears. And the nuggets McLean planted with Heidi and Cam!! Something to look forward to.
First, hold up! Did you read More Than Her? If not, da fuck you doin' here. Go read that shit. Pronto. If you've already read book numero two, then continue reading this review if you so desire.
**Kinda Spoilers Ahead. But I mean, every knows they're going to get together in the end so yeah, thats basically what I mention. Spoiler spoiled! **
I don't understand what the purpose of this book was. Literally everything could've easily been solved in the last book but instead the author decided to drag it out and make another book in which all that happened for the first half was the two main characters missing each other a shitton and the second half with them back together. Things happened too fast and people forgave too quickly. No real plot line whatsoever. 3 Stars. It was an okay story but completely unnecessary.
In other news, can we just take a minute for Lucy. I love the shit out of her and she literally had me cracking up every single scene she was in.

This kind of turned into a Lucy love-fest even though this book isn't even about her. ♥ ♥ Maybe you can't tell, but I'm super excited to read her book. ;)

"Sometimes it's just timing, Logan. Two hearts can beat as one, even if they aren't synced. Maybe that's what it was with you two. Maybe you just need to find the right rhythm, the right timing. Maybe now's that time for you guys."

Book #67 for 2014: More Than Him by Jay McLean
4/5 stars
I love this series. It's a great New Adult Contemporary (is that what this is? Haha)novel. I love the characters and their messed-upness as well as their dramas. It's a fun, light read and I really enjoyed reading this as well as the first two books.
And I love Lucy. So much. She's my favorite character. And Lachlan is so cute! And that endingggg. Ugh. So much love!
Heidi and Dylan though..
4/5 stars

Re-read it with More Than Her and loved it so much more the second time around. So I'm upgrading my rating.

Logan and Amanda's story has finally come full circle.
In More Than Him, we find Amanda coping with the absence of Logan, trying to pick up the pieces of their shattered relationship.

Logan on the other hand, was off doing volunteer work for Doctors Without Borders, suffering from PTSD and missing Amanda.
While their feelings for each other is still painfully apparent and the distance between them is compounding their pain and longing. Which in turn made this book an angsty read.

I was really surprise at the direction that Jay McLean took. I thought she was going to give us a triangle with Tristan figuring out during the first few chapters of the book but she didn't. And THANK GOD!! This book is really about Logan and Amanda growing up and maturing and learning to trust each other again.
It was sweet.
It was funny.
And it was all kinds of hot.
I mean, we are talking about Logan here. That boy is definitely not a boy anymore in this book. His letters and his journal entries were heartbreaking. I admit, I hated him a little in More Than Her when he just up and left but now....sighI can't hate him for long. It's not just possible.

I also adored Amanda. I thought she was going to turn into one of those indecisive females. Thank God, she didn't. Although, she was a little wary about Logan's intention, she never wavered in her love for him. Even with the delectable Tristan nearby.

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable read. I laughed, cried, raged and aww'd throughout the book. It was great to catch up with the rest of the gang. These guys have become like part of me that I can't help but smile and cry over some of the things that's happening to them. I really can't wait for more.
Jay Mclean, you've outdone yourself again. Could you pretty please give Dr. Alan Matthews his own HEA? Pretty please?

"You’re my light, Amanda. In a life full of shadows and darkness and monsters, you’re my light. When the blackness fades and the memories subside, you’ll be there. You’re always there.”
4.5/5 stars.
I loved this just as much as the first one! Loganamanda are impossible not to love! The angst, the fluff.. everything was amazing! I'm glad I gave this a chance after the mess that was the first book! Logan and Amanda all but made up for it!
