The amount of family drama in this story is staggering. Some of it is sad and tragic; most of it is just downright laughable in its absurdity (yet somehow, it’s totally believable because yes, we know family can be very dysfunctional). I laughed out loud several times. Not sure it was supposed to be taken as a comedy; I guess it’s all in how you look at it.
Good brain candy. Moved pretty quickly, which was nice most of the time, but also found myself sometimes questioning what I had missed as there were times when storylines or details were peppered in with limited to no backstory.
I enjoyed this book, but there were too many changing character POVs at times to follow
